Hidayah’s Wedding Reception

A kampung wedding is a special affair. People, family and strangers, come together to help. Everyone in a 20 mile radius seems to turn up. Songs and bad karaoke (but happy) are turned up loudly. The kompangs, Malay percussion instruments, beat steadily as the wedding march begins. The food is great. And it almost always rains.

Good luck, cousin. Welcome to matrimony.
